Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Corsa Confirmed For NZ

Moto Guzzi New Zealand has confirmed the stunning-looking new limited edition V7 Corsa cafe racer will be headed to New Zealand dealerships in 2024.

Unveiled as a surprise for Guzzisiti at the Moto Guzzi Open House 2023, the storied Italian brand is set to bring a hot new V7 into the lineup for the 2024 model year. Meet the V7 Stone Corsa.

Based on the V7 Stone, the Corsa, as its race-derived name implies gives the V7 a good dose of the classic cafe racer treatment. That’s something the Guzzi brand has been lacking for some time.

To bring the V7 into the cafe racer world once again, Moto Guzzi has given the bike a stylish solo saddle with optional removable colour-matched cowling, black anodised fuel cap, bar end mirrors and top fairing that encompasses the LED headlight.

Also separating it from the rest of the V7 range is a special two-tone livery which is designed to hark back to the golden age of motorcycle racing. The metallic grey colour scheme is livened up by an aggressive red stripe that runs vertically along the top fairing, then continuing along the lower part of the fuel tank and on the side panels.

The chassis and engine package remains the same as the V7 Stone, which means an 853cc transverse V-twin producing 64hp and 73Nm nestled between a steel frame and putting power to the rear wheel via a shaft drive. The Corsa also gets the full LED lighting suite and digital instruments of the V7 Stone rather than the analogue units with digital inlays found on the V7 Special.

Moto Guzzi NZ has confirmed the V7 Corsa will be heading our way with the first units expected to arrive in May of 2024 with pricing yet to be confirmed.
