BSA Motorcycles New Zealand has today revealed pricing for the all-new Bantam 350, with the smallest bike in the BSA lineup set to debut with an equally tiny price point.

The BSA Bantam is possibly the brand's most treasured nameplate, and it is finally making its return to the new BSA lineup in the brand's 21st century revival.
While no longer diminutive 2-stroke thanks to increasingly tough emissions laws worldwide, the new Bantam 350 maintains the same ethos as its ancestors with a focus on affordability and accessible motoring.
That's reinforced with its New Zealand price point, which has just been revealed to be just $6,990 plus on road costs.
That is sharp pricing in anyone's books and BSA clearly knows that in the current market sharp pricing is key. Putting it against its key competition in the small capacity retro segment, the Bantam comes in $600 cheaper than Royal Enfield's entry Hunter 350 and just shy of $1000 cheaper than Triumph's class leading Speed 400. Honda's new kid on the block, the air cooled GB350, is priced nearly $2,000 more at $8,995.
First introduced in 1948, the original Bantam earned its place as one of BSA’s most iconic and beloved models — known for its simplicity, reliability, and accessibility. The new Bantam 350 carries this legacy forward into the 21st century, reimagined with modern engineering while staying true to the original ethos: to provide an uncomplicated, honest, and joyful riding experience for all.
The 2025 Bantam is powered by a 334cc, Euro 5+ compliant, DOHC single-cylinder engine, delivering 29hp, perfectly matched to urban commuting or weekend adventures. Designed with approachability in mind, the Bantam features a low 800mm seat height, dual-channel ABS, telescopic front forks, and twin rear shock absorbers for a comfortable and confident ride.

Stylistically, the Bantam draws a respectful line back to its heritage — a classic round LED headlamp, teardrop fuel tank, curved rear fender, and circular LCD dash all echo the timeless design language that made the original a favourite across generations.
Since the global return of the BSA brand, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Now represented across the UK, EU, India, Japan, the Philippines, and New Zealand markets, BSA is once again establishing itself as a marque of distinction in the world of motorcycling.
The new BSA Bantam 350 will be available from BSA Motorcycles dealers this spring. To register your interest and be among the first to experience this modern classic, visit: bsacompany.nz/bsa-bantam
