BSA Scrambler NZ Pricing Announced

Following its global debut last week in London, BSA Motorcycles New Zealand has announced pricing and availability for the BSA Scrambler.

BSA Motorcycles New Zealand has confirmed its highly anticipated Scrambler model is heading to New Zealand dealerships for spring of 2025 and will be priced at just $12,490 (+ORC).

The Scrambler is the second model to join the reborn BSA Motorcycles lineup since the brand's return to the NZ market last year with its Gold Star 650.

Like the Gold Star, the Scrambler is powered by a liquid-cooled 652cc single cylinder engine which produces 45bhp at 6500rpm and is Euro 5+ compliant. Braking comes courtesy of industry leading Brembo brakes with dual channel ABS and the adventure class's go-to rubber - Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres - as standard.

BSA describes the Scrambler as rugged-looking, with the bike offering a minimalist aesthetic in a segment where "scramblers" are often more plastic than fantastic.

A surprise with the global reveal of the BSA Scrambler is that it will be available in three colour options, with the hero yellow and grey options previously teased being joined by a sleek black colour option for launch.

Anupam Thareja, Cofounder of Classic Legends Pvt Ltd, which owns BSA, said: “The BSA Scrambler 650 embodies the free spirit and sense of adventure that all our riders embrace when out on the road. It’s dynamic design and unique aesthetic ensures it is both eye-catching and innovative in its performance; we hope riders will be encouraged to ‘try something different’ with this bespoke bike.

“Functionality and style go hand in hand at BSA; we create beautifully crafted modern classics and want riders to feel confident and exhilarated every time. The BSA Scrambler 650 is exciting, accessible, and fit for everyday journeys through urban jungles or on wide open roads – it takes on any obstacle in its path with ease.”

We can't wait to see the BSA Scrambler in person when it arrives in New Zealand in September of 2025.
