Triumph Motorcycles New Zealand Welcomes Riley Soutar to Off-Road Programme

 

Triumph Motorcycles New Zealand has announced a new partnership with rising motocross talent Riley Soutar, who will campaign the Triumph TF 250-X during the upcoming season.

The partnership marks another important step in the continued growth of Triumph’s off-road programme in New Zealand, as the brand expands its presence across Enduro, Cross Country and now Motocross competition.

Riley joins a growing group of Triumph-supported riders including Jess Eccles, Millen and Riley Cargill, alongside a wider network of riders competing and representing Triumph across New Zealand.

Triumph Off-Road has gone from strength to strength since the introduction of its new generation of competition motorcycles. Triumph machinery is already topping podiums in Enduro and Cross Country events around the country, and attention is now turning firmly toward the motocross scene with the TF 250-X.

Built from the ground up as a genuine competition motocross machine, the TF 250-X combines a lightweight chassis, highly developed 250cc four-stroke engine and premium componentry in a package designed to compete at the highest level.

Riley Soutar’s involvement gives Triumph another exciting opportunity to demonstrate what the TF 250-X is capable of in New Zealand competition.

“Riley is a talented rider and a great fit for what we are building with Triumph Off-Road in New Zealand. We’ve already seen some fantastic results from our supported riders in Enduro and Cross Country, and motocross is the next area where we want to establish Triumph as a serious contender.

“The TF 250-X has already proven itself internationally, and we’re excited to see Riley lining up on one here in New Zealand.”

For Riley, the partnership represents an opportunity to take on the coming season aboard one of the newest machines in the highly competitive 250cc motocross category.

The partnership will see Riley supported by Triumph Motorcycles New Zealand throughout the season as he races, trains and continues to develop aboard the TF 250-X.

And with Riley Soutar now aboard the TF 250-X, Triumph has its sights firmly set on the motocross podium.
