New 180cc Vespas arrive in New Zealand | Pricing Confirmed

It's official! Vespa's popular Primavera and Sprint range are getting bigger and better with the arrival of the new 180cc versions to the New Zealand market.

Now landing in Kiwi Vespa dealers, the 2026 Primavera is the first model to feature Vespa's new 180cc I-Get engine in the New Zealand market and is priced at just $7,990 (+orc).

Tech updates are led by a crisp, full-color LCD display featuring the latest Vespa MIA multimedia system. It seamlessly pairs with your smartphone for turn-by-turn navigation, call and music management, and a handy Follow Me function. Opt for the flagship Primavera S and you’ll also get keyless ignition, bronze trim accents, diamond-cut alloy wheels, and an upgraded saddle.

Visually, the 2026 range gets a subtly restyled front fender contour alongside a refreshed color palette. Highlights include classic White Innocente and Yellow Curioso, joined by two new shades: Beige Avvolgente and Green Amabile (with White Innocente and Blue Capri reserved for the S model).

With the new 180cc models arriving, Vespa also has discounted pricing on the outgoing 150cc models which still pack plenty of stylish fuel sipping value into your daily commute.

Additionally, at the same time Vespa's sought after 80th anniversary models have arrived in New Zealand. The GTS 300 80th and Primavera 80th are a limited run of collectors bikes with heavy visual features harking back to the original Vespas of the late 1940s.

We reckon they're gorgeous, but we have a thing for Italian bikes it seems...
