Triumph continues to tease the soon to be released Tiger 1200, with the latest teaser from Hinkley seeing former dirt bike champion Ricky Carmichael absolutely shredding off-road on the bike.
One of the most successful motocross racers of all time and recently announced member of the Triumph team developing a series of dirt bikes, Ricky Carmichael got to put the new Tiger 1200 official testing prototype through its paces in an exclusive first ride.
Going by his reaction (the man knows a good high-performance dirt machine when he sees it) the new Tiger 1200 looks like it has what it takes to take Triumph's large-displacement triple-cylinder engine into new territory.
“This thing is sweet! I know a lot of time and effort has gone into this new 1200, and it shows, Carmichael said.
"It handles phenomenally.”
