MV Agusta Tease Return of Caviga Adventure Models At EICMA 2021

MV Agusta is one of the last Italian motorcycle manufacturers without an adventure bike in its stable, but that could be about to change with a special reveal set for the EICMA show in a few days time.

MV Agusta, the parent company of Cagiva, has launched what it is calling the Lucky Explorer Project, a multi-faceted initiative aiming at gathering the passionate lovers of rally raid and off-road racing around the company’s legacy of participation and victories in the great African rallies of the golden age of the Paris-Dakar. Here’s what the official press release says:

“That same spirit of adventure and freedom is the foundation of this ambitious project which will be developed through the www.luckyexplorerproject.com website and @luckyexplorer.official instagram channel, both launching today and that will bring to the unveiling of two new adventure bikes. Both models will be available for online pre-booking from November 23.

Those dreams of unlimited horizons, breathtaking sceneries and speed are unscathed, and live through the stories of men, machines, sweat, sand and scorching sun told on the project’s website and instagram channel. The site’s architecture will let visitors explore the history and culture of Schiranna and its unforgotten ties with African rallies under different perspectives: races; people; stories from the field; factory tour from the past; old advertisements; videos; memorabilia; new content and events.

The aim is to create a worldwide community of Lucky Explorer enthusiasts, inviting them to actively participate in the project. To this end, a special section of the website is dedicated to the Lucky Explorer ambassadors. The chosen ambassadors will have access to special contents and exclusive previews, and can invite friends to be part of the community as well as receiving regular product updates and the ability to initiate conversations on the Lucky Explorer forum.

Timur Sardarov, CEO, MV Agusta Motor S.p.A., commented: “I am excited about the launch of this very special project. The Lucky Explorer concept is not just about bikes, it’s about a comprehensive world of emotions, memories, values and a way of being. A long awaited return for all the fans of Made-in-Schiranna, but also a new beginning and a leap into the future: no matter where life takes us, we know where we’re from.”

More exciting news about the Lucky Explorer Project and the new adventure bikes, the project’s natural evolution, will be shared on the occasion of the upcoming Eicma international exhibition in Milan, from Nov 25 to 28. Visit us at booth M48 – hall 22.”
