After the disappointing news that the 2019 edition of the NZ Motorcycle Show was postponed, we've been awaiting news one when New Zealand's largest gathering of motorcyclists and motorcycles will take place again. That wait is finally over with the new that the next New Zealand Motorcycle Show will take place the weekend of November 7 and 8 2020.
While it seems like a long time between drinks for the annual show, this year’s event was pushed back for a variety of reasons, with the organisers not wanting to compromise the quality of the show a major factor.
With key supporters unable to commit to the 2019 dates, the organisers chose to push the show back rather than run a sub-par experience for punters and exhibitors alike.
“The reason was simply because of dates not working for the new bikes to be released in NZ, says NZ Motorcycle Show event organiser Azhar Bhamji.
“We didn’t want to make the show smaller as it had a great response from the whole community. With the new dates released the feedback has been amazing already with so many people starting to plan to attend. Many exhibitors have already confirmed alongside clubs.”
The event is looking to be the best NZ Motorcycle Show to date with Bhamji telling us the 2020 edition will be the first time a few new features which will make their debut with the show.
“There will be a few more new facets to the 2020 event, he said. There will be a huge outdoor entertainment segment in the arena alongside more features. There will be Tech Talk sessions, a Ride Out Zone and few more features we cant talk about right now until we have it all signed up.”
We can’t wait to hear more on what's in store closer to the November 2020 date!
