MV Agusta’s Superveloce Serie Oro concept from the 2018 EICMA show is finally going into production, with a very limited number of the sexy Italian speedster to be made.
Limited to just 300 units worldwide, the Superveloce Serie Oro will debut as a 2020 model and is sure to be a dream come true for the MV Agusta fans and collectors lucky enough to scoop one up.
A combination of 1970’s flair and modern-day state-of-the-art technology, the Superveloce 800 literally stole the show when it debuted at EICMA last year with MV flooded with requests for a production version.
Loosely based on the F3 supersport, the Superveloce Serie Oro similarly utilises a steel trellis chassis, a 148hp inline-3 cylinder 799 cc engine with a counter-rotating crankshaft coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and an iconic triple-exit exhaust system. The Superveloce 800 also includes a number of advanced technologies, including a TFT dashboard as well as state of the art engine and vehicle control electronics incorporating Ride-by-Wire, multi-maps and traction control.
“This is one of the meanest and most stylish bikes we’ve ever produced, said MV Agusta CEO, Timur Sardarov. It certainly lives up to MV Agusta’s heritage of craftsmanship, design and technology. From the moment it went on display at EICMA last November, we knew we had an instant classic.”
For the first time MV Agusta is offering potential customers the possibility to pre-order the bike online through a dedicated section of the official MV website at www.mvagusta.com/superveloce-800-serie-oro . But if you want in you’ll need to get in quick.
First deliveries of the Superveloce Serie Oro will begin in March next year.
