In the world of classic Honda's, the CT range holds a special place in the hearts of many Kiwis. Once the dependable steed of the local postie, the now ancient CT110 finally has a successor in the form of the CT125 Hunter Cub, and the bike is now confirmed to be heading to our shores!
While Honda Motorcycle's official New Zealand importer, Blue Wing Honda, has not commented on the release Manawatu dealership City Honda confirmed the news on its Facebook Page.
Based around the architecture of the CT125 Cub, the CT125 Hunter Cub mimics the styling of the historic models with its engine underslung, high scrambler style exhaust and solo saddle.
According to City Honda, the bikes will be available in three colours, Pearl Green, Matt Brown and of course the iconic Glowing Red.
Pricing is set at $6,695 plus GST - making the bikes $7,699 before on-road costs are added into the mix.
Production of the CT125 Hunter Cub begins in October, with City Honda claiming the first bikes will be here in the country in time for Christmas.
