Ducati has given its flagship sports crossover a race-bred makeover to celebrate the brand’s Centenary year. Unveiled for 2026, the updated Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak gets a striking new livery inspired directly by Ducati's factory MotoGP (Desmosedici GP) and WorldSBK (Panigale V4 R) race machines.

Designed by Centro Stile Ducati in collaboration with Drudi Performance, the new look wraps the high-performance crossover in a dynamic, aggressive scheme that leans heavily into Borgo Panigale’s racing DNA.

Race-Inspired Styling Meets Superbike DNA

Beyond the eye-catching race graphics, the Pikes Peak variant maintains its position as the sharpest, most focused Multistrada in the lineup:

  • Factory Race Touches: Comes standard with carbon fibre components, a street-legal titanium Akrapovič silencer, low smoked windscreen, gold-anodised Öhlins fork sliders, a V4-embossed seat, and the iconic Ducati Corse badge on the beak.

  • Pure Superbike Heart: Powered by the 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine producing 170 hp (125 kW) at 10,750 rpm and 123.8 Nm of torque, complete with a counter-rotating crankshaft derived from MotoGP to sharpen handling.

  • Chassis & Hardware: Features a 17-inch front wheel with forged aluminium rims, single-sided swingarm, semi-active Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 electronic suspension, and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV rubber.

  • Sport Ergonomics: Sport-focused riding position with footpegs set higher and further back alongside lower, narrower handlebars for maximum lean angle and precise control on twisty tarmac.

Customisation via 'Ducati Factory Made'

Ducati is also highlighting its Ducati Factory Made programme with this update, allowing buyers to customise their Pikes Peak directly from the factory without needing aftermarket mods. Options include red forged wheels, red or black brake calipers, multiple seat heights, expanded carbon fibre trim, auxiliary lights, and full luggage sets.

Tech & Safety Intact

Despite its track-focused aesthetic, the V4 Pikes Peak retains the full suite of touring tech found on the V4 S, including standard front and rear radar (enabling Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning), a Race Riding Mode with track-calibrated quickshifting, 60,000 km valve clearance service intervals, and Ducati's 4EVER 4-year unlimited-mileage warranty.

How much will it cost to put one of these mean machines into your collection? Just a cool $54,893. Bummer, that's a little outside our new-bike budget currently.
