Cross Country Beta RC 450 confirmed for NZ

Beta Motorcycles' cross country 450 dirt bike is finally set to be unleashed on New Zealand trails

Beta Motorcycles New Zealand has confirmed the upcoming arrival of the 2025 Beta RC 450 for the New Zealand market.

Set to arrive on Kiwi shores in the coming weeks, the RC 450 is a sought-after cross-country model from the Italian manufacturer previously available only in the United States. Now thanks to some magic from the importer, it's finally going to be released to the New Zealand market in limited numbers, with the first units expected to land in June.

No word on pricing just yet, but we expect this to be confirmed in the coming weeks before the bikes arrive in dealers.

Derived from the RX 450 Motocross platform, the RC 450 shares the same proven and durable platform with additional features added to make the bike a serious off-road race weapon.

Equipped with electric start and a 5-speed gearbox, the 449.3cc engine provides the power delivery perfect for all-around use. Designed for riders who race in the bush on the weekends and hit the moto track during the week, the RC 450 is really a do-all four stroke model.

Distinguishing it from its moto cousin, the Beta RC 450 comes equipped with an 18-inch rear wheel, a larger 9-litre fuel tank, handguards, Race model tank panels, formed plastic skid plate, and an o-ring chain to complete the package.

It sounds like a weapon! Fingers crossed Beta puts a demo bike on so we can take it for a burn around our favourite trails at the Epic Events Berm Buster trail ride later this year.
